After gaining valuable experience as a guitarist and bassist in an indie rock band during his early years, Moritz Peter delved into the world of music production, exploring a diverse range of genres from Techno to RnB.
In 2017, he started studying 'Sound and Music Production' at the University of Darmstadt. Throughout his academic pursuit, Moritz simultaneously embraced independence as a composer and sound designer, contributing to projects in the realms of commercials, shorts, and animations. His passion for crafting captivating musical scores for visual media eventually led him to the Filmacademy Baden-Württemberg, where he completed the diploma program in "Film Sound and Sound Design" in 2024.
Immersed in the world of film composition and sound design, Moritz honed his craft and developed a deep understanding of the synergy between sound and imagery, with a particular focus on commercials. Through his role as sound supervisor on numerous projects, he has gained extensive expertise in creating sound concepts and motifs that are intricately embedded in the dramaturgy, thereby enhancing the storytelling. By handling both composition and sound design, and thus crafting the entire soundscape, a holistic approach to sound is achieved. His distinctive productions are characterized by audacious soundscapes, captivating rhythms, and compelling dramaturgy, setting his work apart and leaving a memorable impact on audiences.
